Everyone has heard about dowry. This dowry always kills women, not men.
Why???
In the 21st century, we all speak about equality. This implies that both men and women are treated equally. Both are equally educated, and they are earning equally. But why is the dowry only given by women to men? In this case, there is no equality.
Why??
Every day, a woman dies due to dowry-related issues. Still, we continue to give dowries. We are arguing with the men to not ask for a dowry.
Why aren't we, as women, fighting for that?
You should say that you won't give a dowry. No one speaks for you. You should speak up for your rights.
Women,
if you give, they will get. So, STOP GIVING. In the meantime, you should
speak about your equality.
In 2023, women got 33 per cent of parliament and the legislative assembly. If they say yes to a dowry, you should say no to marriage. Only women can cure this most dangerous disease called dowry.
